I’ve talked about sarcopenia before and the importance of not just exercising but strength training (i.e. weightlifting) as an active defense against it. I personally want to be able to run, jump, sit, and stand for the rest of my days without assistance. Don’t you?
This is not about skinny. This is not about vanity. This is about life.
(for those of you, like me, who didn’t know what sarcopenia is, it’s the degenerative loss of skeletal muscle mass)
